A WORD ABOUT SOAPS

 

            ·  It is best to use as little soap as possible on the skin

            ·  Try to avoid lathering all over the body

            ·  If possible, use soap in the groin and underarm areas only

 

WHEN WASHING THE FACE AVOID THE USE OF:

            ·  Washcloths

·  Buf-Pufs

·  Cleansing Grains

·  Exfoliants

·  Brushes, etc. Exfoliants

 

MILD FACIAL SOAPS:

            ·  Cetaphil Bar

·  Derma Topix non-drying cleansing lotion*

·  Eucerin Liquid or Bar

·  Oil of Olay Foaming Wash

·  Clinique Bar

 

MILD BODY SOAPS:

            ·  Lever 2000

            ·  Aveenobar

            ·  Alpha-Keri Bar

 

Shower Gels are not recommended due to high irritancy potential

 

 

THERAPEUTIC SOAPS:

·  Vel Bar: for eczema-prone or fragile skin

·  ZNP Bar: for seborrhea

·  Panoxyl Bar 10% for acne

·  Glyderm Cleanser: for oily skin*
