Around the time of my 40th birthday, I began to notice changes in my face. I worked harder applying
makeup --but I still didn’t look like myself. Because of drooping around my eyes and mouth, l looked
tired and older than I wanted. I considered several medical treatments, but the long recovery associated
with surgical treatments was not an option for me because of my responsibilities to my small children and work.

After arriving at Dr. Glavey’s office, I was given a mild sedative before the Thermage Treatment.
I was comfortable during the treatment- I could, at times, feel the sensation of heat -but it went away as
quickly as it began. Everyone at Dr. Glavey’s office was very pleasant and professional. The entire process
required about 4 hours and I left the office with just a bit of redness. I noticed a huge improvement in my
skin tone immediately; and a gradual lifting over the next few months. It was such a nice feeling to look in
the mirror and see the wrinkles getting smoother for the next few months! I picked up my sister at the airport
7 months after my Thermage. She did not know I had the Thermage treatment but she did notice my improved looks
and kept saying, “You look so good!”. I had to tell her!
Overall, the experience was wonderful-no bandages no scars, no downtime. A babysitter and a ride to and
from Dr. Glavey’s office were the only arrangements I needed to make -I would definitely do it all over again!
